Ambrosia's most prestigious university, founded in 1876 after a generous donation from Alexander Chronos II. Sitting on 320 acres in the heart of downtown, its buildings are in red brick, designed by Henry Hobson Richardson in Richardsonian Romanesque style. It was awarded Ivy League status in 1954. The university is renown for its state of the art research labs, tier 14 law school, journalism school that feeds directly into the Ambrosia Chronicle, and business school that offers coveted internships to Chronos Consolidated. Each year, the Chronos Foundation offers a number of scholarships to students handpicked by Alexander Chronos VI himself, who holds a position on the board of trustees. None seem to know the criteria for the award, but all who have received it seem to find positions of prominence in their chosen fields. Like many Ivy League institutions, it also houses a storied secret society. the Clock Club, its members known as Cogsmen.
