Ewan arrived ten minutes early, and began looking around the park, specifically watching for anyone suspicious, though taking care not to look like that was what he was doing. As he looked around, he momentarily considered how paranoid he had become since talking to Wick. (INT 10)

Ewan Cromwell INT: 50
Ewan ponders the absurdity of his life. His father an alien god who seduced his mother like something out of Greek myth? His mother a secret agent in league with space-warping terrorists? Who could write such a farce? This was just preposterous. He was sitting in a park waiting for Hans bloody Willingham and he was going to tell him his best friend Yorick bloody Vaughn was a professional liar. For a moment, for the briefest of reveries, Ewan feels the slight prickling feeling his life may be no more than text on a screen, every line, every emotion calculated by some mad genius. John Wick could alter reality. Ewan's father was from another dimension. Who was to say there wasn't a God, or a pantheon even? What if this adventure was nothing more than some light entertainment for-
Ah, there was Dr. Willingham. He looked tired and ragged, leaning on a cane in an old trench coat. "Mein freunde... I hope you are well." He wheezed as he motioned towards a bench.

Ewan moved towards the bench with Dr Willingham. "Its been a... memorable couple of days" Ewan said. "I... don't know exactly how to say this, so I guess it might be easier to show you" He continued. "It took some work, but I found this on Vaughns computer" He finished as he drew a small tablet to display the entire set of emails on.

Hans produced a set of reading glasses and began perusing the papers. "Trustwell... Ja, I knew Yorick was being paid for his silence." He flipped through the pages and settled on a particular paper. He read it intensely, before handing it to Ewan. It was Yorick's letter warning Trustwell of the consequences of dimensional breaches. "You are holding atom bomb. That letter might destroy the Trustwell Corporation, if placed in the right hands."

"It might destroy them, and all in proximity if placed in the wrong hands" Ewan said. "It is why I made a point of seeing you, this information is dangerous to trustwell, which makes it dangerous to whoever holds it. It seemed foolish not to consult you, consider what to do next" he continued.

He shook his head. "I do not know. I would certainly make copies and have someone ready to present them to the public in the event of your demise. But is Trustwell behind the disappearances in Starcrown? Is this what was troubling Yorick before his death?"

"So far I havent found anything linking trustwell to the disappearances, it seems as if Trustwell were also looking into Dr Vaughn" Ewan said.

"Is this all you have?" He finished looking through the papers, and handed them over. "Before he died, he said he had strange readings from the heart of Starcrown. Did you find anything about that? Anything about localized breaches?"

"Nothing detailed, have you heard of the Starcrown welcome center?" Ewan asked.

"A little. Charity organization. They help struggling people find their way. Jobs, homes, that sort of thing. It's still new, maybe six months old. Why>"

"Well, the inside of the building is... well its geometry is impossible, the interior does not fit within the building, or even remain consistent" Ewan said, "Its also worth asking if you are familiar with a man by the name of John Wick"

"What, like a... TARDIS?" He gave Ewan a puzzled expression. "That's impossible. I should know. Even the most cutting edge quantum door technology can merely open a link between two places. The Escher Hypothesis has never been proven, and the level of programming involved would be astronomical. Literally astronomical, since you risk creating a man-made blackhole. And yes, Gian-Carlo Wick. Italian theoretical physicist of the 20th century. He laid down some of the foundations that Yorick and I exploited for our own work. Why do you ask? He's been dead more than half a century."

Ewan is not familiar with the Escher Hypothesis, or even the 'astronomical' calculations involved. However, he realizes that the Welcome Center may not actually be 'bigger on the inside', but in fact, the doors may actually link to other locations. Perhaps only the exterior of the building is located in Starcrown, and the interior might be somewhere else. Also, Willingham's description of Wick's work confirms that 'John Wick' is indeed an alias, chosen to reflect his unique abilities.

"I recently encountered someone using that name" Ewan said. "He apparently runs the welcome center. Also I almost set off a trap Dr Vaughn set for him, would have destroyed the whole house."

"Gott in Himmel... why? Why go to such extremes? Who is this John Wick?"

"I am unsure exactly thus far, although I am almost certain he is Starborn" Ewan said. Even if he had agreed to work for Willingham, the connection to his mother was something he planned to keep to himself. "So far that is all I have been able to identify. The main question in my mind is if we should hold onto the information as insurance, or release it."
