Five things I adore about this RP thus far from a GM standpoint.
1. Not having to explain the sociopolitical history of an imaginary land. 2. Not having to explain tropes players may not be familiar with. 3. Having a visual language established by 75 years of comics, shows, and movies for me. 4. Getting away with the whackiest names I can come up with. (Would you REALLY trust a massive warmongering corporation named Trustwell?) 5. Being able to blend other modern genres I love, like detective noir, crime dramas, action flicks, and espionage thrillers.

Hey Astro, when you have time to chat I'd like to discuss my character's biography so I can finish it and start playing.

As all of you probably know by now, my internet is notoriously bad, on top of being a struggling molecular biologist/professional writer/professional editor. Fortunately, I'm currently staying in an area with much better Wi-Fi, and will be for the foreseeable future. So 1 out of 4 ain't bad, eh?

I imagine the rivalry between Chronos University and University of Ambrosia is pretty heated.

Considering the secretary told him Erwin had made an error with his schedule to explain your unapproved meeting, I'm pretty sure the idiom is apt in this situation. Considering Alexander's anal nature regarding time, fucking up is schedule is likely an offense worth firing some one over. In fact, if he hadn't realized you were a Starborn, he would have fired both secretaries afterwards at the very least.

Oh wait no way, so you mean a random secretary mentioned Erwin Price and "threw him under the bus", while Elize didn't mention Erwin Price at all or even indirectly reference him in anyway? Even when Elize's pheromones are meant to induce compliance, in this situation it seems pretty clear that she did not intentionally manipulate that compliance in a way to specifically backstab Erwin Price.
Backstabbing Erwin Price: "Elize mentioned Erwin Price in her request and then released pheromones that would cause doubt/suspicion about Erwin Price as well as a willingness to comply with her request"
Not backstabbing Erwin Price:
In case it's not obvious, that is a direct quote from the RP.
What Alexander's secretary says to him is none of Elize's business. What Alexander's secretary says about another executive has nothing to do with Elize. And lastly, how Alexander chooses to handle his easily manipulated secretaries is also, definitely, none of Elize's business. He is welcome to take responsibility for his inept secretaries and not blame others.
Glad we sorted that out!

Just to clarify... 1. Elize temporarily brainwashes Margaret (Downstairs receptionist) 2, Margaret, in a bid to please Elize and allow her to see Alexander, desperately puts pressure on Samantha. Now, I assumed, like many places, the secretary pool do find themselves hanging out, sharing stories and talking between eachother. So I wrote Sam and Mags as having an off-duty friendship. 3. Sam, who is NOT brainwashed, makes the inappropriate schedule change. It is also never stated if she did indeed blame Erwin like Mags suggested. I don't imagine her feeling the need to irritate another such powerful man. All Erwin had done so far was have a surprisingly circumspect discussion about Chronos, (His free will is obviously stronger than Mags) and did NOT set up such up a meeting, even though he could have. Instead, he set up a much more savvy way of introducing the pair. So yeah, fire Samantha. Or have Janus fire her.
