Kiyiya shook the offered hand, nodding. "If this mysterious man was expected here, we might be able to wait here for him."

"Possibly..." Ewan said, "Though if I may ask, who are you?" he then asked, not letting on how much he had figured out.

Kiyiya smiled at the man. "A potential ally. That potential and that question may both see more light as this progresses."

"Fair enough" Ewan said, "Though I must wonder what you have in mind, for he does not appear friendly to Mr Vaughn, which may not bode well for us"

"The enemy of my enemy may be my friend, but the enemy of my friend? That can go either way. Did our beloved departed say anything else?"

"Vaughn referenced something about this Mr Wick having some kind of powers, specific ones which he seemed to plan for" Ewan said, With this Ewan opted to open his phone, googling mr Wick, while simultaneously activating his source, looking to see if anything of use came up from either.

Kiyiya glanced about the room for a moment before nodding. "I'll go look around in case there's anything interesting."
With that, he left to search the rest of the house.

Ewan Cromwell INT: 37
Via Google, Ewan finds references to Pride and Prejudice, the Drew Carey Show, an old action film, and many references to candles. Eventually, he locates a description of Wick Rotation, a method used in physics and quantum mechanics that imvolves replacing a real number with an imaginary one. The inventor was one Gian-Carlo Wick. A promising lead, but Wick died in the 1990s, and was almost certainly not our man. If anything, Cromwell had located the inspiration for a possible alias.
His results with Morphic Resonance were a bit more promising, though still fragile. Ewan recieved images of a friendly, polite looking man. He found no imprints suggesting anything sinister about him, only reference to a Starcrown Heights Welcome Center. Again, perhaps another poor lead, but it seemed the only one."

With one possible lead, Ewan then moved to the old computer, taking off the side panel so as to check for the hard drive, looking to get it out and put the side panel back on, so he could access it when it was not connected to a bomb. INT 10

Once he had the hard drive, Ewan pocketed it before reattaching the side panel to the computer. He then had another look around the room, looking for anything else that could be of use. INT 10

It was unlikely Vaughn left anything of value, knowing he would likely be forced to destroy the room. This does suggest a second safehouse somewhere however, for his more valuable work. A scientist like Vaughn would not simply destroy his life's work, and would have left it somewhere for others to make use of.

Kiyiya Haskie INT: 11
On the same floor, Kiyiya locates a bedroom with letters stacked the bedside. After only a moment of browsing, Kiyiya finds a handwritten letter to Vaughn from a 'Yoskeha Haskie.' The letter is unique among the others, in that the writer is neither espousing rabid patriotism nor cursing him for causing the deaths of so many. Instead, the author thanks the doctor for allowing him to have met his 'Skawennahawi' and be able to raise his son into a strong, proud man. The letter is not that old, dated only two years earlier. There are tear stains on the paper, though which man left them is impossible to determine.

Kiyiya stared at the letter for a moment, tucking the note away for future reference. That his father had contacted Vaughn was new to him, but it didn't seem like there had been returned correspondence. After that, he checked under the bed, as well as any other nooks or crannies.

Ewan, with all the information he thought the house contained, left the office, looking for the Trustwell arrival. Entering the bedroom where he found the man, he said "I think I have most of what I'm gonna find in this place, and if this wick is at all capable in a fight, I'll only get in the way. I do however, have one thought on where to look, do you have a number I can use to contact you once I've run down this lead?"
